DST combines digital printing with screen printing, so you can print designs with unlimited colours from a single screen and heat press them onto shirts.

How DST works

1. Print the colour design onto the DST film with a colour laser printer, on the coated side (the side that feels matte).
2. Make a screen from a positive of the same design, with registration marks.
3. Place the DST film on the platen, lined up with the marks, then print DST white base with a V-blade squeegee held at 90 degrees, 1-2 strokes.
4. Lift the film right away, sprinkle DST hot-melt powder all over, then tap off the excess.
5. Let it dry for 5-10 minutes (or use a hair dryer).
6. Press with a heat press at 120°C for 5-7 seconds, light pressure, with a Teflon sheet on top. Peel the Teflon while hot.
7. Place the film face down on the shirt and press at 125-140°C for 10-12 seconds, medium pressure. Peel the film when cool.

DST film is not classified as hazardous (according to SK's SDS).
