DST White Base

DST white base – DST White Base
Water based white ink for screen printing an underbase on DST film after the colour design is printed with a laser printer. It makes the colours stand out when pressed onto the shirt.

How to use

1. Place the DST film with the printed colour design on the platen, lined up with the registration marks.
2. Print the white base with a V-blade squeegee held at 90 degrees, 1-2 strokes (plus 1-2 dry strokes if needed).
3. Lift the film right away, sprinkle DST hot-melt powder all over, and tap off the excess.
4. Let it dry for 5-10 minutes, then press at 120°C for 5-7 seconds. Then press onto the shirt at 125-140°C for 10-12 seconds.

Safety information

• Type: water based screen printing ink, thick cream
• Not classified as hazardous according to SK's SDS
• Avoid breathing spray mist. Wear gloves and safety glasses.
• If it gets in your eyes, rinse with clean water for several minutes.
