SK Dark Cotton-Poly Blend DTG Pretreatment PRT-DTG-TCDC

SK Dark Cotton-Poly Blend Pretreatment (PRT-DTG-TCDC) is a pretreatment for DTG printing on black and dark cotton-polyester blends (TC fabric) with a white ink underbase before the colours. It helps white ink hold onto the fabric, gives solid, sharp colour and reduces ink bleeding or spreading on dark fabric. Made in Thailand by S.K. Color & Chemicals.

What it is for

How to use

1. Mix 1 part pretreatment with 3 parts clean water (1 litre makes about 4 litres ready to use). Shake well.
2. Spray evenly all over a clean, dry shirt.
3. Dry completely before printing. Starting values with SK pretreatment: heat press at 165–180°C for 40–60 seconds, or tunnel dryer at 145–160°C for 100–140 seconds. Adjust for your fabric.
4. Print DTG with a white ink underbase as usual.

Results vary with fabric type, fabric colour, printer, ink and curing method. Test on your real fabric before large runs.
