How to use blue photo emulsion SK-BB

A water based emulsion, light blue in colour. Mix it with the sensitizer to put your design on the screen. Works with all water based screen printing inks.

How to use

1.Mix blue photo emulsion SK-BB with sensitizer SK-2BPV (free in the set) at no more than 10% or 1:10

2.Coat the emulsion onto mesh that is already stretched on the frame. Coat from the bottom up, on both the inside and the back of the screen.

3.Use a fan or a hair dryer so the emulsion dries evenly all over.

4.Expose your design under a fluorescent tube unit for about 2 minutes or less, depending on the lamp power, with something heavy on top of the screen.

With a vacuum metal halide exposure unit, expose for only about 20-60 seconds.

5.Wet the screen with water, then wash out the design with a spray.

6.Coat with screen hardener SK-3BPV on both front and back, then let it dry.

7.Wipe off any hardener residue, let it dry completely, and the screen is ready.

Warnings

1.You do not need a fully dark room to mix the sensitizer or for this work.

2.Once mixed with sensitizer, blue photo emulsion SK-BB can be used for 48 hours. Store at room temperature in normal light; no need to refrigerate.

3.If you mix it with chemicals from other companies, test first, because unwanted reactions may happen.

4.If you use more than the ratio recommended above, always test before real production.

Caution: if the chemical gets in your eyes or mouth, rinse with clean water right away and see a doctor. Keep out of reach of children.
