SK Color & Chemicals spent more than 3 years researching and developing white ink for DTG.
We use European technology at every production step and have made the white pigment particles in the ink smaller, down to nanometre size. This is good for the print head and lets the ink keep longer, settling much more slowly than typical DTG white ink.
If SK DTG white ink does settle, the sediment breaks up more easily than with typical DTG ink. For example, a typical DTG ink may need 15-20 shakes to break up the sediment, while SK DTG ink needs only 2-5 shakes to break up as much as 99%.
Nano-sized ink particles are also good for the printer's ink circulation. Inkjet nozzles are tiny, many times thinner than a human hair, so SK DTG ink flows through easily and greatly reduces nozzle clogging.
SK DTG ink still gives an opaque white that makes prints look bright, even on dark or black fabric.
